Following are the ingredients to make Lemon Rice Recipe by Tarla dalal.
1 1/2 cups Steamed Rice 2 whole dry kashmiri red chillies, broken into pieces 1/2 tsp mustard seeds ( rai / sarson) 1/2 tsp urad dal (split black lentils) 1/2 tsp grated ginger (adrak) 1 tsp roasted chana dal (daria) 4 to 5 curry leaves (kadi patta) 1/8 tsp turmeric powder (haldi) 1/2 tbsp lemon juice 1 tsp oil salt to taste For the garnish 1 tbsp chopped coriander (dhania)
Method of Cooking Lemon Rice Recipe by Tarla dalal
Method Heat the oil in a non-stick pan and add the red chilies, mustard seeds, urad dal, ginger, chana dal and curry leaves. When the seeds crackle, add the turmeric powder, rice, lemon juice and salt and toss well. Serve hot, garnished with chopped coriander.
